Connor Irvine is a junior in the Information Technology program focusing on application development with a certificate in data analysis. Before attending Texas Tech, he served in the Air Force for 5 years where he deployed to Afghanistan. Now that he is out, he spends most of his time studying for his classes, working on his music, and last, but defiantly not least, showering his beautiful cat, Nietzsche, with love and attention. Connor found his love for technology though his use of synthesizers and computer programs, like Ableton, to aid in his music performance and production. His fascination with how technology can solve everyday problems that one might encounter while running their passion project led him to an IT degree. After he graduates, he wants to use what he learned while at Texas Tech in the music field or anywhere that won’t make him cut his hair.
